This is Part 1 of my Final Color Theory Project, but because I suck at matching things, I'm editing them to be individual projects. I'm contemplating posting the rest, but I think I will O_-
I think I totally wasted my Spring Break...>< but I got commissions done, which I'm totally taking right now! Read my journal XD
Done with Copic Markers Edited in Adobe Photoshop 7.0
Such an amazingly fantastic peice. The beauty of it is simply outstanding, and your use of colour is genious! ^^ The blended look of the hair is just marvelous. I adore the use of purples and reds (and even pinks) and how you effortlessly seemed to make them blend with one another. Orange seems to be a nice touch, as well. It seems to stand out and draws your attention.
Also your use of skin colour is just amazing. How you use shadows to not make it seem flat and also the use of the colour yellow is a very impressive touch.
Her face is really well drawn and somehow realistic. Simply gorgeous detail on the eyes. I love how you made them different colours. Doing so makes them seem to pop out at you. Also her expression seems to imply that she's a somewhat sneaky character, but still has a gentle heart. Wonderful work on this. Love it.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
